I am trying to do some retrieval of future calendar events. One of those is a recurring meeting. the /events endpoint will only show the next occurrence. So if I pull a months worth of events, it will not show a weekly recurrence of a recurring event, it will only show the NEXT one. THis is per "The best Hatz Agent Ever Made".
"The /events endpoint likely:
Expands only the next upcoming occurrence of a recurring series (3/20 ✅), but does not continue expanding subsequent ones (3/27 ❌)
Or it may have an internal limit on how many instances of any single series it returns
Even requesting 50 events doesn't help — the limit applies to unique event objects, not expanded recurrences
The Fix
This is a known limitation of the /events endpoint in Microsoft Graph. The proper solution is for the integration to also support the /calendarView endpoint, which takes startDateTime and endDateTime and correctly expands all recurring instances within that window.
I'd recommend raising this with Hatz support at docs.hatz.ai — adding a /calendarView-based tool would resolve this gap. It's a common need for anyone with recurring meetings."
