It would be incredibly helpful if you could have a file collection locally e.g. with an agent or with a cloud storage via link/api as the knowledge base of an app.

This would be a huge advantage, connecting to a data source has been inconsistent with a tools ability to reach out into share point and build out info - nearly a 50% failure rate - building a vector DB on the back end is becoming a critical point for these tools - any info or progress on this one? Have folks looking at other tools because this is the direction they want to go and I'd like to keep them inside the tool -
