I’d love to see a dictation/voice-to-text input option in ChatGPT. Typing out long, detailed prompts can be time-consuming, and being able to speak naturally would let me provide more thorough context, faster.
I use dictation in other tools like Copilot and find it extremely useful. Having a microphone button to speak prompts directly in ChatGPT (with support for punctuation and auto-formatting) would save time, improve accessibility, and make interactions feel more natural.

Add a Voice Prompt input option that lets users record or dictate a prompt instead of typing. Hatz should transcribe speech to text, insert it into the prompt field, and allow quick edits before running—making it faster to capture ideas, brainstorm, or work hands-free. Optional enhancements: push-to-talk, auto punctuation, language selection, and saving voice prompts to templates.

Personally, I use the mess out of this in ChatGPT. I still find myself going back to ChatGPT just to do this... The closest work around I have found as a Windows user is to hit "Windows + H" to do speech to text.... But that isn't quite the same and buggy at best. ;)
